Pancake Breakfast & Basket Raffle
The Friends of Stonington Crew and Stonington High School Crew Annual Pancake Breakfast is scheduled for Sunday, March 18, 2012 from 7:00a.m. – 11:00a.m. As you may know in conjunction with the breakfast there is a basket raffle that will take place at 10:00a.m. All money raised from this event will go towards much needed equipment and to cover operating costs for the 2012 Crew season.
We are asking each family of a participating student on the SHS Crew Team for a donation of a themed basket for this event. The ideas for creating a basket are endless! Your donation will help to guarantee the success of this fundraiser. Appropriate raffle items of any value are also welcome.
Please download the basket donation form, print it out and return this form with your donation and please list contents. If possible, we ask that you wrap your basket in cellophane wrap and tag it. Please drop off your basket at the Stoningon COMO by 5pm, Saturday March 17th.
How To Get Involved
- Create a themed basket, wrap it, and deliver it to the como on Friday or Saturday. Don't forget the Raffle form. If you need to drop it off earlier, call Greg Wostrel (401 286 9228), Rhandi Lee (860 599 0426), Linda Hutter (860 572 7232).
- Set-up is on Sat. at 5pm. The more people we have the faster we can get set-up.
- Donate breakfast breads, muffins or pastries (store bought are fine).
- Volunteers need to be at the como at 6am on Sunday. Can't make it that early - come when you can.
- Ask your family and friends to come enjoy a wonderful array of food and baskets.
- Crew wear will also be available for sale, so you can get ready for regatta season.
